Terms of Service

Welcome to the Global Youth Congress. These General Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Global Learning LLC, doing business as Global Youth Congress ("GYC," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering for, accessing, or participating in any GYC program—whether online, in-person, or travel-based—you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

BY COMPLETING REGISTRATION FOR ANY GYC PROGRAM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, on your own behalf and on behalf of the participant you register, together with the Global Code of Conduct & Ethics, the Privacy Policy, and the Program-Specific Terms that apply to the program you are registering for—linked immediately below. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not complete registration.

Program-Specific Terms

Each program has its own Supplemental Terms covering refunds, assignment, and logistics. Click a program title below to read the terms for that program. They are binding in addition to the General Terms on this page, and where the two conflict, the Program-Specific Terms control.

Travel and international academic programs: terms for travel-based programs—including delegation trips, accommodation packages, and international academic programs—vary by program and destination and are provided to you during the registration process for that program. They are not published here. Those terms form a separate contract: nothing in them creates any right of refund or cancellation under a conference or competition registration, and nothing in a conference or competition registration creates any such right under them.

1. Universal Applicability & Incorporated Policies

These Terms apply globally to all GYC experiences. By agreeing to these Terms, you also explicitly agree to the following core policies, which are incorporated herein by reference and govern your behavior and data rights across all our platforms:

  • Global Privacy Policy: Governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

  • Global Student Code of Conduct: Outlines the mandatory behavioral expectations, ethical standards, and zero-tolerance policies for all participants.

2. Program-Specific Agreements & Local Jurisdictions

Due to the diverse nature of our offerings—ranging from digital courses to international travel expeditions—specific terms will vary by program type and location.

  • Supplemental Terms: Each specific program may have its own Supplemental Terms regarding refunds, cancellations, assignment, logistics, and liability. In the event of a conflict between these General Terms and the Program-Specific Supplemental Terms, the Program-Specific Terms shall control for that specific experience. The published Program-Specific Terms are linked at the top of this page, under "Program-Specific Terms."

  • Travel & International Academic Programs: Terms for travel-based programs—including delegation trips, accommodation packages, and international academic programs—vary by program and destination and are provided to you during the registration process for that program. They are not published on this page. Those terms form a separate contract; nothing in them creates any right of refund or cancellation under a conference or competition registration, and nothing in a conference or competition registration creates any such right under them.

  • Local Jurisdiction: While GYC is a US-based entity, in-person programs are subject to the local laws and regulations of the host country or state. Participants agree to comply with all local laws applicable to the program location.

3. Third-Party & Partner Terms

Many GYC programs are delivered in collaboration with world-class partners, universities, and venues (e.g., Full Sail University, Walt Disney World®, Universal Orlando Resort™, or local hosting institutions).

  • Partner Compliance: By participating in a program involving a third-party partner, you agree to abide by the codes of conduct, safety regulations, and terms of service of that partner institution.

  • Liability: GYC is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or independent policies of these third-party partners. Failure to comply with a partner's rules (e.g., safety violations at a theme park or university campus) may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, curriculum, methodologies, and materials provided by GYC are the exclusive property of Global Learning LLC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use these materials solely for your personal educational participation in the program. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell GYC materials without express written permission.

5. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or a prominent notice on our platform. Continued participation in GYC programs after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

6. Governing Law

These General Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
