Spain Model UN
About This Program
IEUMUN Junior is designed for delegates at every stage of their MUN journey. With six committees ranging from Beginner to Expert — including the Security Council, a Crisis Committee, UNICEF, and NATO — students debate in English using Harvard-style Rules of Procedure, guided by trained chairs who ensure every voice is heard. Position Papers are required and award-eligible. Individual and delegation awards are presented at the Closing Ceremony.
But Spain MUN is more than a conference. The two weeks begin with three days in Barcelona — Sagrada Família, Parc Güell, Las Ramblas — before moving to Madrid for city tours, the Prado Museum, and the Bernabéu. The week closes with a social gala on the 24th floor of the IE Tower, overlooking the city where their resolutions were debated.
This is the program for schools ready to take their MUN experience to Europe.
Hosted at IE University — Madrid & Segovia, Spain
IEUMUN Junior is organized by the IE University Model United Nations Organization, operating from the facilities of IE University — consistently ranked among Europe's most innovative and internationally diverse universities. Committee sessions take place at the IE Tower in Madrid and the historic Convent of Santa Cruz la Real in Segovia. Delegates benefit from keynote programming delivered by IE University faculty with backgrounds in international relations and diplomacy. The conference follows Rules of Procedure modeled after Harvard Model United Nations, and issues individual and delegation awards recognized across the international MUN community.
Who is This Program For?
